The motifs, designed in dazzling colours, boldly mix traditional Occidental ornamentation on one side with Oriental elements on the other. The motifs are separated by a coloured line that draws a clearly visible boundary between East and West, paradoxically connecting them at the same time. The contrast of the motifs is accompanied by a contrast of forms: on the same piece, round and smooth outlines transition directly into wavy lines that bring with them the scent of old times. Made in Tangshan, China, the "capital of Bone China porcelain," this precious collection is based on age-old techniques. The surfaces are handcrafted.
