Make sure you have a mixing bowl, a brush, and gloves on hand before you begin. Before coloring, apply a generous amount of cream around the hair roots to prevent the color from staining your skin. Please do not wash your hair before application.Mix the desired color at the desired concentration in a 1:1 ratio with the appropriate Igora Royal Developer. Apply the product to dry hair as soon as it’s mixed. If you’re doing a full color application, start with the mid-lengths and ends, and work your way up to the roots after about 10–15 minutes. Apply the Igora Royal hair color only to the roots if you want to color just the roots, and then, after 15–30 minutes, color the lengths and ends as needed.Leave the Igora Royal hair color on for a maximum of 30 minutes if you’re using the 3% developer, and about 30–45 minutes if you’re using the 6% or 9%, or 12% developer, and then rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear. Wash your hair as usual with BC Color Freeze Shampoo and Cleansing Conditioner or a treatment.Important Note: When using the 12%/40 vol Color & Care Developer, it is important to avoid contact with the scalp.
