Although the Bosch IXO cordless screwdriver can be fitted with 1/4" hex shank drill bits, the machine is optimised for driving screws rather than drilling holes. That's where the IXO Drill adaptor comes in - this compact attachment has a locking quick release tool holder which holds drill bits securely and ensures they are driven with the necessary speed and torque for drilling into wood, plastic and plaster.
